The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Arts, POLONIA
The result of a project by first-year students, this play based on Blasted by Sarah Kane, deals with the notions of war, death and mental health, striking deep into the heart of the dialogue the students have engaged in with the text and the author. A story about uncertainty, passivity and fear, sown in the depths of the characters. The protagonists of Blasted are those who have been excluded from the great social and armed conflicts, forced to confront the bitter wreckage of ‘some illness’.
